With her vast experience in government, Podesta began her career working on Capitol Hill and has since proven her capabilities as a leader. As Secretary of a Cabinet Agency serving under two governors in the state of California, Podesta has demonstrated exceptional relationship-building skills and strategic navigation abilities while overseeing a budget of $4.75 billion and managing nearly 6,100 employees. 

Alexis has also spent time in the private sector, including working for PG&E and The Walt Disney Company.

Since then, Alexis has extended her expertise beyond the government sector, working with a vast array of clients from various sectors and industries. With her strategic mindset and comprehensive knowledge of various industries and their operations within California, she is adept at finding solutions, collaborating, and building relationships. Podesta currently serves as a Member of the Board of the State Compensation Fund.
